Abandoned Vala Projects

There was a time when Vala was really popular, and a plethora of Vala apps spawned. A lot of them are dead right now, so since i don’t have time to revive any of them, i’ll publish this list of interesting projects in case someone is interested in bringing back one of them:

• Ease (Presentation software)
• Lombard (Video Editor) and Fillmore (Audio Editor)
• ODG - Display Gauges on GTK+
• Finalterm, an awesome terminal emulator
• libgtkflow, Flowgraphs on GTK+ [Updated 2017-04-08: Not dead. Sorry grindhold.]
• Books, a simple book manager
• World in a Box - Game/Game Maker in Vala [Updated 2017-04-08: Gone.]
• Valatra, like Ruby’s Sinatra, but written in Vala
